10 year treasury yields drifted lower last week and mortgage rates followed suit. After hitting a 2021 high in April, 30 year fixed rates have dropped back down to where they were at the beginning of the year averaging 2.77%. The star of the week is the 15 year fixed rate mortgage which is averaging a historic low of 2.1%.
