By The Sea Realty is proud to be a sponsor of the third annual Bugfest By The Sea in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. Bugfest is all about the Florida Lobster Mini-Season which is the last Wednesday and Thursday of July every year. Mini-season is an opportunity for Florida residents to get out early and catch Florida Spiny Lobster before the regular season opens on August 6th. This year’s mini-season is next week on July 30th and 31st. Lobster hunters from near and far will be visiting our beautiful town to catch spiny lobsters and participate in dozens of events throughout the week. Bugfest runs from July 27th to August 2nd and is packed with fun and excitement.
