Pompano Beach

Pompano Beach is a coastal city in Broward County, Florida, located just north of Fort Lauderdale. According to the 2020 census, the city’s population was 112,046, making it the sixth-largest city in Broward County and the ninth-largest in the South Florida metro area. The city provides boaters with excellent ocean access and is just south of the the Hillsboro Inlet, which connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway. The portion of Pompano Beach on the barrier island is bordered by Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to the South and Hillsboro Beach to the North.
