Hollywood is a city in Broward County, Florida

As of the 2010 U.S. Census, Hollywood, Florida had a population of 153,067. Founded in 1925, the city grew rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now the twelfth largest city in Florida. Hollywood is located in southeastern Broward County, and includes about 5 to 6 miles of beach on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The city is bordered by Dania Beach to the North and Hallandale Beach to the South.

The 2.5-mile stretch along Hollywood Beach known as the “Broadwalk” is the city’s featured attraction. It buzzes with activity as residents and visitors enjoy more than 50 restaurants, a variety of shops, and resort-style entertainment. Whether dining, shopping, or unwinding by the water, there’s always something to explore in this lively coastal community.

Downtown Hollywood, centered around Hollywood Boulevard and Youngs Circle, provides residents and visitors with a bustling restaurant, shopping and nightlife district. The ArtsPark at Young Circle, located in a 10-acre traffic circle in Downtown Hollywood, serves as a vibrant hub for visual and performing arts. It offers a variety of educational, recreational, and entertainment activities including weekly concerts and community events.
