The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented event for our industry, our country and for the entire world. Reaction here in South Florida has been mixed and as we get used to the “new normal” we can’t help but look back and wonder “how was our response” and “did we do enough to help our customers and our agents through this very difficult time”? We are not out of the woods yet, but we are doing our part to operate safely and help contain the spread of Coronavirus. As an essential business we had to act fast and implement procedures to make sure our customers were able to continue buying and selling homes through the entire crisis. We are extremely proud of our response so far and we we will continue our safety procedures and virtual services for as long as it takes.

Being apart of the By-The-Sea Realty Team, you are given the support to succeed, no matter the circumstances. During the shut down due to Covid-19, Rich Barnhart, Broker/Owner, took every extra step they could to keep our office “open for business”. They offered weekly Zoom meetings, put into place Covid-19 policies regarding safety for our customers and for team members. In addition, they upgraded our marketing programs to include 3D property tours, videos and high resolution photographpy. They were in constant communication with the team, even setting up virtual happy hours on Friday evenings supporting local musicians. I can’t say enough fantastic things about By-The-Sea Realty.

That decision was never more important than when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. We had weekly Zoom meetings - not just to establish guidelines and protocols for safe behavior but just to check in and make sure everyone was doing okay! “Family” was broadened to include our clients and business partners - with a continuously update website with links to information and assistance, with masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers for us and our clients, with technology support to help us serve our clients better in this new virtual world. We’ll all get through this - together - like a family should!

With real estate being deemed an essential business, Broker Rich Barnhart jumped into immediate action to provide critical pandemic guidelines to our team, our customers and the general public.
